Cook over med-high heat until thickened. *Depending on what part of the country you are in, seasoned flour is usually sold in any grocery store. Leftover mashed potatoes flour finely chopped onion 1 egg, slightly beaten Mix potatoes, onion and egg. Add enough flour to make a firm patty. Heat small amount of butter or margarine in skillet over medium heat. Fry potato cakes until will browned and hot, about 12-15 min. Make sure you let the cakes brown throughly before turning so they won't fall apart.
